Positive: Lovely quiet place, everything we needed for an overnight stay.

A beautiful space close enough to town to be convenient and far enough away to be quiet and relaxing

Disappointing Positive: beautiful property with good views. Negative: A few things went wrong at the property. 1. I enquired about bbq facilities that was confirmed. Once I checked the bbq, it was full of cigarette buds and water, it had not been cleaned in some time. 2. I also enquired about bbq utensils, it was confirmed that that there is. We could not find it, when I let the manager know, he said it is there and the staff will come show me when the come to clean the bbq, when they arrived, they checked the same places I checked multiple times and came to the same conclusion, there was none. To be fair, utensils were provided at that point. 3. The spare bathroom flush were broken. 4. The coffee machine was broken. 5. The property gate remote was broken. 6. Additionally, the keypad on the inside of the gate was broken. The only way to get out was with the car, this was a problem to get out to our Uber and for food delivery. 7. When the power went out (no issue, it happens), neither the USB battery nor the flashlight were charged. We were not provided with an alternative. The power was out for a long time. 8. The property manager was extremely slow to get back to us on questions, not hours, but days on some questions. As regular travelers, this was the worst I have experienced. When I sent a photo of a bbq full of cigarette butts, the response was within minutes, this means previous messages were seen, just ignored.

Lovely place to stay Positive: Very lovely hosts, they communicated everything prior arrival for a smooth check in. The rooms were clean and well maintained. I would definitely visit the place again Negative: Nothing

Totally overrated. Neglected Positive: Competitive price Negative: This is honestly one of the most confusing accommodation experiences I have encountered. On Booking.com, the property has a rating of 8.8/10, while on Google it appears under a different name with a 5/5 rating. As a Google Level 9 reviewer, a status I have earned by giving honest and balanced reviews, I simply cannot rate this property that highly based on our experience. The overall impression is of a development that started with great expectations but, for whatever reason, was never fully completed. What is particularly disappointing is that the online photographs do not give a true impression of the surroundings. There is a large, barren area where one would expect proper parking with a large paved area , and the gravel road is badly maintained, making it particularly unpleasant when trying to unload luggage. NO GARAGES. What do you do it it rains? The reception area is beautiful, but it was completely deserted with nobody around. The swimming pool is also beautiful, and the gardens clearly have enormous potential, but unfortunately they appear neglected and in need of attention. The rooms themselves are beautifully decorated, but once again there is a sense that this development could have been something exceptional and simply never reached its full potential. Our stunning bathroom, for example, looked directly onto an extremely neglected courtyard, as did the shower. It completely detracted from what could otherwise have been a beautiful space. The kitchen is also under-equipped, with a very small dishwasher, a microwave oven and only one Snappy Chef plate. On the verandah, the braai was neglected and rusted. The verandah itself was extremely dirty, with overgrown grass and dirty outdoor furniture, which made it an area we simply did not want to use. The only bath kept losing water because of a faulty bathplug In my opinion, these units are really best suited to only two adults. The location is also not quite as ideal as the listing suggests.
